2023 Inshore Open Registration

We are excited to bring back the STATEWIDE “Inshore Open” fishing tournament for yet another year! Help us make the 5th annual the best one yet. We have added some new divisions to the tournament this year! For all those Kayak anglers out there, now you can compete on your own completely separate from the boat anglers! 2023 Angler Divisions: 

• Statewide “Inshore Open”
• Kayak Division
• Lady Angler Division
• Youth Division
• Fly Division

August 25th- September 29th 

Tournament Rules:  CCA NC 2023 Inshore Open | iAnglerTournament

Angler Entry Fee: $70

• Includes a 1-year CCA membership and subscription to the award-winning TIDE magazine, Inshore Open “CPR” wristband, Giveaways, drinks, food & entry into the Captains Party/ Cape Fear Chapter Banquet on Friday August 25th at the Warehouse on the Water, Wilmington NC (Downtown on the waterfront)

Youth Entry (ages 16 & under): $10 – NOW $0!

• Includes 1-year Rising Tide youth membership, entry into youth division, Inshore Open “CPR” wristband, and Entry into the Captains Party
• Must be accompanied by a registered tournament participant aged 18 or older.
  • Please include name of accompanied youth angler in “additional information” box at checkout.
  • We are very excited to have a separate youth division within the iAngler tournament this year, be sure to register your youth into that separate division!!! 

Captains Party/Cape Fear Chapter Banquet: Friday Night August 25th 6:00pm

The “Inshore Open” Captains Party will be held on August 25th, 6:00pm at The Warehouse on the Water, Wilmington NC. We encourage all anglers, friends and family to join us for this fun filled event. There will be giveaways, lots of top tier raffle prizes from some of the fishing industries best, a Silent Auction and a Live Auction full of great local trips and incredible items!!! There will be a food, alcohol and soft drinks all included in your price of admission. So, bring the family or your company out for a fun fundraising event!

TOURNAMENT PRIZES: Statewide and Kayak Division Prizes will be based on total number of anglers registered in the tournament. 1st-3rd place will receive a trophy from fish burn art, as well as a rod and real combo plus, a gift card to a tackle shop of their choice based on #of total anglers!!! The more anglers who fish the higher the winnings!  Example: (If we have 100 anglers registered then 1st place will be $1000 gift card, 2nd place will be $500 gift card, and 3rd place will be a $250 gift card to a tackle shop of your choice). Min prize amount will start at $1000 gift card for 1st place based on 100 anglers and the prize value will go up from there!!

Ladies Division: 1st place -Trophy + Rod and Reel Combo | 2nd place– Toadfish package | 3rd place– CCA Ladies Package

Fly Division: 1st place- Trophy + $250 Gift Card to Great Outdoor Provision Co | 2nd place – TFO Fly Rod Combo | 3rd place– Danco Package

Youth Division: 1st place- Trophy + CCA NC New Tide Youth Membership+ Rod and Reel Combo | 2nd place- CCA NC New Tide Youth Membership + Toadfish Rod and Reel Combo | 3rd place- CCA NC New Tide Youth Membership + Calcutta Tackle bag

Your Wristbands for your “catch, photo & release” entry will be provided the night of the captain’s party on August 25th at The Warehouse on the Water. (Being this is a Statewide tournament and the event you cannot make the captains party we will have wristbands at tackle shop locations around the state. Upon completing payment, an email confirmation will be sent to you with further instructions and a coupon code to register your profile in the iAngler system.
