George Povoromo will bring the Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series to Wilmington’s Hotel Ballast on Saturday, January 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring 10 experienced saltwater captains who will teach their secrets of catching more trophy fish.
He is the host of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing on the NBC Sports Network, and Contributing Editor for Salt Water Sportsman. Co-Hosting with Poveromo will be “Crazy” Alberto Knie, a legendary shallow water and land-based fishing specialist on catching trophy redfish, flounder and tarpon! The Tour is presented by Bass Pro Shops.
The National Seminar Series is the nation’s longest-running and most popular educational course on recreational marine fishing tactics and techniques. Each stop on the eight-city tour is geared to the how and where of catching saltwater fish within that region, inshore, near shore and offshore.
