A documentary titled Net Effect, that was produced by the documentary department at WRAL in Raleigh aired on Monday, October 26th on WRAL in the NC Triangle area and on WILM in the Cape Fear/Wilmington NC area. Net Effect takes a look at the issues surrounding fisheries management in North Carolina. The hour-long documentary is hosted by WRAL News anchor David Crabtree and features interviews with commercial and recreational fishermen, NCFA lobbyist Jerry Schill, NC-MFC Commissioners, NC DMF Chairman Dr. Louis Daniel, and CCA NC Executive Director David Sneed. Net Effect has since been broadcast statewide on public television due to the importance of the subject matter to all the citizens of North Carolina.
