Kids Fishing For the Future Tournament

We have reached our 100-youth angler maximum, we are very thankful for your support and look forward to a great day out on the water. If you did not make the cutoff, don’t worry we would still love to have your youth anglers be a part of the event, they are welcome to fish the day of tournament and will still have a chance to win the prizes given at the awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon but unfortunately, they will not be able to receive a swag bucket with all of the sponsor giveaways. We encourage you to sign up early next year!! 

Saturday, October 7th, CCA NC Fishing for the Future Kids Fishing Tournament Waterway Inn, Swansboro 

We are so excited for this year’s CCA NC “Kids Fishing for The Future” Tournament!! Check out our Facebook page for further information and to stay up to date on the progress of the tournament throughout the next few weeks. We are limited to 100 kids so please register online beforehand so that your spot will be accounted for.

This is a special event and a great way to introduce our youth to fishing and the outdoors. There is no better way to escape today’s climate than to get out on the water with the family while introducing the outdoors to our next generation of anglers that will advocate for the future of our resources here in North Carolina.

The Coastal Conservation Association of North Carolina will be holding the 10th Annual Fishing for the Future Youth Tournament! This tournament will take place on Saturday, October 7th at the Waterway Inn, Swansboro NC. Youth anglers will be divided into two divisions, 13 – 17 years old, and 12 and under. All kids registered before September 20th will get a swag bucket containing sponsor and fishing gear.  Anyone registering after September 20th will receive any other extra promotional items we may have from our sponsors. All registered kids, with a parent or authorized adult, should be at the Check-in on Friday, October 6th from 4:00- 6:00pm at the Piggly Wiggly parking lot in Swansboro (Stay up to date with emails). All participating youth anglers must check-in to receive their individual marker. The tournament will be an inshore catch and release only tournament. All youth anglers are welcome to fish from land, boat, or kayak. Prizes will be awarded for the longest redfish, flounder, trout and Lizard fish, along with additional fun categories.
